Work Experience at Greenlands Farm Shop

Underley Garden has the opportunity to access a work experience in the farm shop in Greenlands Farm.

C is the first to begin this opportunity and she is doing a great job!

C started off by stamping all the bags ready to be filled with the animal food that is sold in the shop. She filled each bag with 1 scoop and wrapped it up. She then went on to complete some cleaning tasks which included wiping down the shelves in the farm shop and sweeping the floors. 

After she had completed her tasks, she then began pricing some items, using the pricing gun which was quite tricky but good fun. C managed to find a way that worked for her by using 2 hands on the gun and putting the price label on herself before attaching it to the product.

This is a brilliant experience, allowing C to develop new skills and work on her communication skills including following instructions to complete jobs. Well Done!
