Home News & Events Science Museum Trip!
As part of our science lesson students from Q5 enjoyed a visit to the ‘Science and Industry Museum’ in Manchester. The learners enjoyed walking around the first floor of the museum looking at objects from the past such as old cars, computers and phones and were surprised by how quickly technology has evolved. They then enjoyed taking part in the interactive activities, they were able to make shadows and use the knowledge gained in lessons to explain how to make them bigger/ smaller, they were also able to use their knowledge of periscopes to explain how they could see on another when using one. It was fantastic to see learners using their knowledge within this setting and having fun within science.
This was a great trip. embedding the knowledge learnt in lessons and enjoying a day out!
