Careers Week – Right2work Parent Engagement morning

Claire and Michelle visited from Right2work. The session was run as an opportunity to provide information to the young people and parents / carers who were invited as part of a parent engagement morning.

Claire provided a PowerPoint explaining Right2work and Supported Internships. Videos were also shared of young people who are on the supported internship scheme already and what their views and experience of this has been.

 Michelle then explained Future Choices a pre internship scheme newly launching in the area which is a stepping stone into a supported internship. There was an opportunity at the end for students asking questions.

 A separate parent session was held afterwards for parents / carers to ask questions.
