Children In Need

This year we raised a massive £86.95 for Children in Need, a charity for disadvantaged children around the UK. The theme was SPOTacular. Every student had the opportunity to get involved in the appeal, through various ways which were carefully personalised to each student’s needs. Classes baked spotty cakes and created their own Pudsey biscuits. A huge discussion was had with the students about how to raise money for the charity. “Sell them.” ,

“Let’s draw posters.”                             

Classes created artistic posters to advertise the selling of the yummy cakes and biscuits, and a stall was assembled, which was run by students, they all had amazing salesmen techniques.  

Students also had the opportunity throughout the day to have a slot in the Beauty Salon, where lots of classes were able to get their nails painted spotty for a donation ???? lots of money was raised here. Classes got messy with paints, glitter, gluing and sticking to create Pudsey pictures, as well as exploring playdough adding different colours to yellow play dough to create Pudsey’s eye bandage. A huge well done to every single student for getting involved and making a difference.
