Heron Hill Bingo Session

As an extension of Careers week, we arranged to visit Heron Hill Care home in Kendal to run a bingo session for the residents. A number of young people enjoyed leading the bingo session, calling numbers drawn from the bingo randomising machine whilst all other young people enjoyed sitting amongst the residents, socialising and helping find numbers on the bingo cards. 

The bingo session was a huge success, enjoyed thoroughly by both the young people and Heron Hill residents. We are keen to return, furthering relationships created with the residents and engaging in fun, social activities.

A great visit strengthening our community links whilst meeting benchmarks set out for our Careers provision.
