Manchester Museum

Class Q5 visited Manchester Museum to support with our learning of Fossils, Adaptions and Evolution within Science. The class were given a task of looking at the range of fossils on show and then needed to complete a worksheet identifying the name of different fossils along with how old they were, where they were found and any key/ interesting facts. This was the first time some of our young people have visited Manchester, and the first time one of our young people has been to a museum, making it an extra exciting trip. All the students engaged well with the activities and enjoyed seeing the fossils in person and gave them an increased sense of understanding and enjoyment of the subject.
