Home News & Events Sports Day at Underley
Summer is on its way and the school year is quickly drawing to an end which means one thing – sports day is here!
On Wednesday 17th June, Underley Garden held their annual sports day. The Great British weather held out which helped making the day just as special as the previous sports days.
All young people managed to participate in the activities that were set out whilst being cheered on by staff, family members and carers.
It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm, competitiveness and effort that the pupils put into the day. The activities varied from water carrying and an assault course to tyre flipping and javelining.
One pupil said, ‘The Welly Throw was my favourite!’
Each activity was differentiated to ensure that they were all accessible to enable all the pupils to join in and have fun! A huge shout out to our P.E teacher, Matt, for organising great stations and making sure every young person was involved in this event.
