Home News & Events Kendal Mountain Festival
Some Post 16 students were lucky enough to get tickets to Kendal Mountain festival which is an annual festival held in November in Kendal, Cumbria and is one of the most diverse festivals of its kind in the world, attracting film premières from around the world. Our learners were excited to experience this and visited basecamp, looked at some of the outdoor stalls and then went to Kendal Leisure Centre and attended the film screening for schools.
We listened to a speaker talk about space, stardust and travelling to the moon, Kayaking and outdoor sports, animals and even about life on the Antartica!
Some of the students would like to give some feedback:
Caiden said “I liked watching films on space”
Brandon said “I like watching the squirrel animation film on cheeky squirrels”
